Budget flight provider, Ryanair have announced they envisage their fares to fall by up to 7% in 2016, with profits likely to rise sharply.
"If there is a fare war in Europe, then Ryanair will be the winner," Ryanair chief executive Michael O'Leary said.
The cost of oil has dipped dramatically in the last two years and the result has seen the benefits passed-on to the consumer.
"If other airlines want to compete with us on price, then we will lower our prices again." O’Leary added.
